Background and Experience Label: Career in Diagnostic Radiology Dr. Paula Lee-Valkov is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with 17 years of experience. She started her career in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, where she served the rural community for 14 years. Currently, she has a combined practice in locums and tele radiology.

Interest in Mindfulness and Mindset Work , Her interest in mindfulness and mindset work began during her tenure as the chief of medical staff in 2017 and 2018. She focused on creating a sense of community among the medical staff and addressing physician and provider burnout.

Pursuit of Life Coach Training

Driven by her passion for personal growth, Dr. Lee-Valkov decided to pursue life coach training. In 2022, she embarked on her certification journey at the Life Coach School. She herself has benefited from life, business, and career coaching, which led to significant improvements in her mindset and overall well-being. Inspired by her own transformation, she aspires to inspire others and show them what is possible.

Passion for Boundary Setting and Contract Negotiation

Dr. Paulais deeply passionate about boundary setting and contract negotiation. Her mission is to empower individuals to gain clarity on their priorities, set and enforce boundaries, and confidently negotiate for what they truly want. By doing so, she aims to help them lead lives in alignment with their values, both professionally and personally.

In addition to her work with diagnostic radiology, She also supports physicians and other healthcare professionals who desire to change jobs or create a more fulfilling work environment. She understands the feeling of being overwhelmed and discouraged at work and aims to guide others through the initial steps of their journey towards a better professional life.

Support for Graduating Residents and Fellows

Dr. Paula has dedicated the past year to coaching graduating residents and fellows as they transition from training to the workforce. She provides guidance and support to help them navigate this critical phase in their careers.

Personal Interests Label: Real Estate and Latte Art Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Lee-Valkov manages several real estate holdings, including a short-term rental property. She takes pleasure in welcoming guests to her home and creating amazing latte art-forward coffee drinks for them. Label: Outdoor Activities and Music Dr. Lee-Valkov enjoys various outdoor activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUPing), and hiking. She also plays the ukulele and used to be an avid biker. Label: Entrepreneurship and Hot Sauce As a multi-faceted entrepreneur, Dr. Lee-Valkov is currently passionate about her Trini-style hot sauce called Rayz Peppa sauce. She is dedicated to sharing the flavors of her heritage with others.
